Mas Cauvy is a family-run B&B in Cevennes. Our old farm is located in the village of Saint-Christol-lès-Alès, 5 km from Alès and close to the Cévennes.
Its geographical location is perfect, because Mas Cauvy is on the edge of the village, and surrounded by fields. You find yourself in peace, while remaining close to all shops and tourist sites.
We have 2 family rooms which can be rented for a couple, a family, or several friends.
For 2 people, the price per night is the same as for the other rooms. For more than 2 people, the price depends on the number of additional children or adults.

A family room with 3 beds
The “Les Cigales” family room can accommodate up to 3 people and 1 child.
It faces south with an entrance through a patio door on the courtyard side.
Our family room in the Cévennes is spacious.
For parents, the 160x200cm bed is very comfortable and new (box spring and mattress), with cotton percale sheets.
Under the stairs, a small cot is available on the ground floor.
On the mezzanine, a single bed 90 × 190 can accommodate an adult or a child.
For a young child, we recommend that you use the bottom bunk for extra safety.
For your comfort, the bedroom also contains bedside tables, shelves, a wardrobe with wooden hangers, a desk and 2 chairs and a fan.
Ensuite shower room
Our guest room near Alès contains a bathroom with a shower, vanity unit, and toilet. It has just been completely renovated, everything is new.
We provide towels and washcloths, as well as a shower gel.
You will also find a hairdryer in the drawer of the washbasin cabinet
Your terrace
On the terrace, in front of your door, a table and chairs are there for you to enjoy a book, an aperitif or share a small meal.
The terrace is shared with other rooms but the part right in front of your door is yours.
Relax chairs, coffee table, carpet and parasol, everything is there to enjoy the outdoors!
