The Mas Cauvy is a bed and breakfast in Cevennes, just 5 km from Alès, in the village of Saint-Christol-lès-Alès
Located between Anduze and Alès, Mas Cauvy is a former family farm, in the family for 4 generations.
Our guest rooms “Les Hirondelles” and “Les Olives” can accommodate up to 3 people.
All our guest rooms are located on the 1st floor of the farmhouse, with separate entrances from the owners’ area.
You will find tourist and practical information for your stay in the room as well as at the reception.
Close to Anduze, our bed and breakfast is ideal for visiting the Bambouseraie, admiring the Cévennes with the Steam Train to Saint Jean du Gard, or enjoying the lively night market in Anduze on Tuesday evenings.
We are available to advise you on visits to Anduze and its surroundings.

The B&B room layout
Our “Les Hirondelles” room can accommodate up to 3 people.
Located on the 1st floor and to the south, the guest room is accessed through a large balcony on the courtyard side.
This room is decorated in pastels, yellows and blues, in a rustic and retro spirit, with touches of wicker for a fresh and warm atmosphere at the same time.
Our priority is that you can spend sweet and restful nights with us!
The bedding is new and comfortable :
- a large double Queen size bed (160)
- a single bed
- cotton percale sheets (Oeko-tex label for the respect of nature)
In addition to the beds and bedside tables, the bedroom also has a wardrobe with wooden hangers, a small desk and 2 chairs.
A fan is also available.
Ensuite shower room
The B&B has its private shower room.
This is equipped with a shower, a sink and a toilet
It has been recently renovated.
We provide towels and washcloths, shower gel and a hair dryer.
The balcony
You will probably spend a lot of time on our large balcony which overlooks the courtyard.
A table and 2 chairs will allow you to enjoy this outside. You can connect to wifi, read or eat at this table.
For your meals, we have a common room which contains a refrigerator, a microwave, coffee maker, kettle, crockery.
You of course have access to the campsite’s shared barbecue if you wish and to its picnic tables. We also have an electric barbecue that you can use on the breakfast terrace tables.
