Our bed and breakfast in Cevennes, located in Saint Christol-lès-Alès, is quiet and yet close to everything.
Le Mas Cauvy is an old family farm near Anduze and Alès. Surrounded by fields and crops, you will find with us the simple and rural atmosphere of a bed and breakfast on the farm in the Gard.
Located on the 1st floor, the guest room “Les Violettes” can accommodate 2 people and contains a private bathroom.
It is oriented to the south with an independent entrance by a window-door on the courtyard side.
WiFi is available in the room.
A welcome booklet is available in the guest room with a list of visits to be made. We recommend in particular the Pont du Gard and the Bambouseraie, which are the 2 most visited sites in the region.

Modular beds
We offer you a comfortable bed with new mattress and box spring and cotton percale sheets.
You can choose a 180x200cm bed for a couple.
For those who travel as friends or those who simply want to be comfortable, this guest room can also be available in 2 single beds of 90x200cm. If you want this option, please specify it when booking).
For your comfort, the bedroom also contains an antique chest of drawers, a wardrobe with wooden hangers, an armchair, a desk, 2 chairs and a fan.
Ensuite shower room
It includes a bathroom renovated at the end of 2018 with shower, vanity unit and toilet.
Towels and washcloths are provided, as well as shower gel.
A hair dryer is also available in the drawer of the washbasin cabinet.
Swimming pool
Back in your guest room after visiting the Pont du Gard or our other fantastic tourist sites, you can relax by the swimming pool, which is open from 10 am to 8 pm.
For those who fear the sun, the pool terrace is partially shaded by trees and a few parasols.
Deckchairs are also available.
Meals
We do not offer the table d’hôte but you have access to a room common to all the guest rooms which contains a refrigerator, a microwave, a kettle and crockery.
On the balcony, in front of your door, a table and 2 chairs await you to read, have an aperitif or enjoy local products from the Gard.
You can eat on the balcony or on the breakfast tables next to the reception. If you prefer, the campsite’s picnic tables are also at your disposal.
