If you are looking for tourism activities in the Cevennes and in the Gard, whether they are sporting, cultural or playful, you will inevitably find your happiness around the campsite, and probably more choice than you hoped! No way to get bored!
We have at the reception of the campsite a large number of flyers on tourism in Cevennes and the leisure around the Mas Cauvy.

Sports activities
Hiking in the Cevennes
The Cevennes offer many hiking trails. The best known are the Regordan Way (GR700), and the Stevenson Road (GR70).
You can follow the footsteps of the author of “Treasure Island” and “Doctor Jekyll and Mister Hyde” who crossed the Cevennes with a donkey in 1878.

Cycling/mountain biking
We have more and more cycling and mountain biking enthusiasts. A discovery cycle loop passes just in front of the campsite.

Thrills
We have several tree climbing places in the area which are very popular.
Sensation lovers can discover climbing e and the Via Ferrata in the Cevennes. The monitors office at Anduze will be able to provide you with information.
The Pôle Mécanique is a car complex that includes a speed circuit, a karting circuit and a set of rally tracks.
Water activities
Swimming in the river
The Gard is a very sunny area (300 days of sunshine/year!). It’s usually nice and warm. Water is therefore a scarce resource and valued at its fair value.
If you want to stay at the campsite, you can of course enjoy our pool.
There are also rivers in which you can swim. If you want to dive, fish, have a little more privacy than at the swimming pool, you will love the river bathing!
Our favorite river is the roach of Mialet, in the Cevennes. The water is clean and the wild nature wishes! We will be happy to show you some bathing places.
Other river activities
Canoeing is also a popular recreational activity for tourists. It’s an opportunity to do some sport while enjoying the freshness of the river. There are several courses. We love the one who ends up under the Pont du Gard. It is a more unusual way to discover this masterpiece of Gard tourism .
Finally, the monitors office in Anduze offers canyoning and aquatic hiking, for stronger sensations!
Activities for children
Ride with a donkey
If you come as a family, you will probably look for activities for your children.
For walk lovers, renting a donkey is an original activity that will delight your children!
Parks and Children’s museum
There are also several small amusement parks.
With small children, the Bouscarasse is an ideal water park to spend the day in the cool.
Finally, the Haribo Candy Museum in Uzès is a popular attraction for gourmets.
